Day sail trip in the Marlborough Sounds
Anzak Charters have endeavored to put together a sailing experience to suit just about everyone.
Anzak Charters will tailor a sailing trip so that you may experience the wonders of Queen Charlotte Sound at your own comfort level.
Our experienced skipper and crew can take you sailing into the wind-swept Cook Strait, or Anzak Charters can just as easily transport you in quiet luxury to secluded bays and coves where you'll be serenaded by native bell birds and tuis while enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir from one of Marlborough's world class wineries.
Queen Charlotte Sound has Maui dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and a small number of the rare Hector's dolphin. Later in the season, seals abound and often will be observed swimming and sunbathing on sunny haul-out areas. Queen Charlotte Sound is also home to large numbers of sea birds. On any given day Anzak Charters will take you to see pied and spotted shags, little black shags, and if you are really fortunate, you may even get to see the largest and rarest of the shag family, the king shag.
Wherever your interests lie, Picton and the Marlborough Sounds have something to offer. Anzak Charters is ready to share this amazing region with you.
Day charters come with complimentary light lunch, tea, coffee and fruit juice.
