Join in the 2012 Seaweek celebrations! There will be various events around Marlborough to celebrate our oceans including:

Sailings on the Steadfast traditional sail, with environmental educator Richard de Hamel. 2 hr sailings from  Picton on 3 and 4 March. Tickets $30 adults, $15 children (12yrs). Tickets from Blenheim and Picton i-sites and Edwin Fox Museum. http://www.steadfastsail.com/

Experience Long Island marine reserve – without even getting wet! A boat ride from Picton to Long Island with underwater cameras, divers and interpretation. All day event on 4 March. $40 adults, $20 children (12 yrs). Tickets from DOC Picton 03 520 3002.

Activities for kids at Marlborough District Library (Wednesday 7 March 10:30 am) and Picton Library (Thursday 8 March 3:45pm).

An Evening at Sea Film Festival.  Friday 9 March at 7pm at Ecoworld. Entrance by gold coin donation (includes admission to EcoWorld from 7pm).
