INSIGHT: Come to the edge of discovery…A photographic workshop with Sally Mason

Creative images can convey great depth of feeling and where better to immerse yourselves in a sensory journey of heightened awareness than in the bushy seclusion at Lochmara Lodge. In this workshop we will explore methods of photographic communication, and participants will be encouraged to write down and share their feelings. All will be guided to understand themselves and why they feel the way they feel – then to incorporate this into a very personal approach to their picture making.

The workshop will consist of daily lectures and slide shows, photo shoots and photographic challenges, with time to download and select some images to share each day. It is expected that particpants will be familiar with the basic use of their cameras – tuition will be given on the creative use of in-camera techniques. Personal projects will be given to stretch your imaginations and the results of these will be shared on the final morning.
