Experience the joy of sailing on board the good ship Steadfast! Built on the lines of a French pilot cutter from 1913, Steadfast offers guests a delightful experience of sailing in comfort and style. Our French Pass lunch cruise features freshly baked rolls from the ship's stove, fresh organic produce, and a complimentary glass of wine.
Departing the French Pass wharf daily at 11am, Steadfast sets sail for the d'Urville Island coast and the surrounding islets. Lunch is served on deck, as we glide silently along, enjoying the passing scenery and the gentle sounds of wind and water. Little Blue Penguins, gannets, shags, and shearwaters are regular company, and we occasionally come up with a pod of dolphins, who like to ride the bow wave as we sail along. Experience the wonder of one of New Zealand's hidden treasures!
