4 Day Freedom Walk
If you prefer to walk indepdendently with your own friends, or family, then the freedom walk is a great option. This package includes the accommodation in twin share en-suite rooms at the three main hotels on the track, water transfers including daily luggage transfers, a packed lunch daily and use of our base in Picton.
River kayaking ecotour
This is a personalized guided tour of the Opawa river and Wairau lagoon once home to the moa hunters and now a playground to 90 species of bird. Come to our home to view the protected wetland and share in our love of nature and history. Tours are approximately 4-5 hours long and include stops for lunch or dinner prepared by Will(homemade). We encourage afternoon/evening tours as best for birding and photography. We will pick up and return you to your accommodation within Blenheim. Please bring sunglasses,sunblock, water bottle, sunhat and change of clothes plus camera and warm hat and jacket. Voted by tourists via "Rankers" this is the best freshwater kayaking tour in New Zealand for 2009/10.
