Picton Maritime Festival

Picton is a vibrant sea side town which celebrates its unique maritime history by holding this festival annually. Visit Picton on the 21 January 2012 to enjoy all things maritime at the free to enter festival which is held on the foreshore area from 11am to 12 mid night. The festival has something for everyone with clinker boats, Life saving demonstration, volunteer fire brigade, bouncy castles, raft races for all age groups, craft market, food stalls, and a fabulous children’s programme , Walk on Water activity, interactive games and more. In the evening the fabulous fireworks display is timed for 9.30pm so the children can stay up and watch. Kick up your heels or just sit back and be entertained by local musicians and national talent whilst taking in Pictons stunning scenery and enjoy some great quality time with your family and friends.
