Cruise the Queen Charlotte Sound from Picton to Lochmara Bay, where you will discover art, conservation projects, and nature encounters in the hidden world of Lochmara.  Walk to the Queen Charlotte Track panoramic lookout for 360 degree views over the Sounds, explore the bush trails spotting native birds and hidden sculptures, hand-feed the native Kakariki parakeets and see art from New Zealand eco-artists in our exhibition spaces.  We also have free kayaks to paddle the bay, self-guided nature trails, or simply relax and enjoy the view from the cafe, beach, or one of more than 40 hammocks tucked into the bush.   2010 Tourism Industry Award winners for Conservation in Action.
