Today Peppers Portage is a resort hotel which can accommodate 82 people twin share or 115 with triple and bunkhouse included. The resort experience includes a swimming pool, spa and leisure activities as well as a range of dining options from casual Snapper café to quality dining in Te Weka Restaurant.
The resort sits in a wide quiet bay. The rooms are spread throughout the gardens with a range of views, the majority of spectacular Kenepuru Sound.
Conference and meeting facilities are available for 100 people theatre style and the resort has a dedicated Conference Manager to work with clients providing the best professional service.
A feature of Peppers Portage Hotel is the Discover Portage program, a range of the best experiences in Marlborough, and booked by the resort for guests. Focussing on water, walks and wine, these experiences can be from a 30 minute nature ramble to a full day hike; a sightseeing cruise or sea kayaking; enjoyment of fine food and wine or a wine tasting each evening. An Adventure Centre operates in the summer months.
Access to the Peppers Portage is fast and easy. 15 minutes from Picton by water taxi or 40 minutes from Linkwater by car, Peppers Portage is the most accessible resort in the Sounds.
