I am Will Parsons owner of Driftwood Ecotours, we have been operating since 2004.

We offer personalized guiding for small groups(1-9 people) with interests in birding, plants, history, ecology, geology and photography. Sharing our love of Marlborough on foot and by 4 wheel drive van.

All tours are tailored to your time frame and particular interests and as an ex farmer in the area I have access to some unique and interesting properties.

We believe in enjoying the journey as well as the destination, tours are complimented with good home cooked food and local produce.

We also offer kayaking tours based from our home at the Opawa River, 10 minutes east of Blenheim. On these tours you can photograph close up birds such as the magnificent Royal Spoonbill and hear the early history of the area. I will show you the earliest recorded site of human occupation in New Zealand. The river is slow moving and suitable for non experienced kayakers and the tours is at your pace.
